Between the ease of use and the consistent brew this
Keurig Rivo R500 Brewer machine is fantastic. The frother works great with non-fat milk and is also fun to watch. I purchased directly through Keurig which seems to have a better price. I'm a coffee snob, an espresso purist, and resisted all the pod-based machines like Francis Francis, etc. because i thought if you weren't tamping your own grounds and pulling your own shot, it wasnt the "real thing".

| This Keurig Rivo R500 Brewer machine is AWESOME! At the sake of sounding like an informercial
actor, I use it everyday, and have completely stopped going to chain
coffee places. |
Plus the machine was starting to corrode after 7 years of daily use, and the espresso was not tasting all that great. Reading the reviews, I felt hopeful this machine might be good. The milk frother is brilliant and does a perfect job. The espresso is absolutely delicious. I love this machine and would highly recommend it. After 8 months of continuous use the Rivo stopped making espresso quality froth. That said, Keurig replaced it immediately with a new Rivo machine.
- Modern black housing
- 15 bars of pressure
- 2 espresso sizes: short (1.4 ounces) or lungo (2.8 ounces)
- 3 frothing modes: cappuccino, latte, cold froth
- Brew under 1 minute
The replacement machine froths better than the first unit ever did and I am very satisfied with this companies customer service. Just a we're so sorry that your machine no longer meets your expectations and, a new machine will be sent out immediately. Most companies could learn from this customer oriented attitude. Stuff happens. If you make a large espresso, and fill the milk frothing cup to the "max" line - the final drink winds up being about the size of a Grande Starbucks cup.
I thought it frothed beautifully. So play around with your type of milk product - you'll get different results depending on what you're frothing. We love this
Keurig Rivo R500 Brewer machine. You have the option to go hot or cold with the milk. With the hot summer, we make lots of iced lattes, but sometimes we're in the mood for a hot drink.
