Reviews Philips Saeco HD8833/47 Syntia Automatic Espresso Machine
I have had my Philips Saeco HD8833/47 Syntia machine for over 4 years. During that time, I have
found it to be very reliable- consistently producing good quality coffee
with ease. Since the machine is relatively small in size, it does not hold a
massive quantity of beans, the water tank does have to be filled often
(but it is very easy to fill), and the waste bucket needs to be emptied
after 4-5 uses (easy to dump).
In particular, the Saeco HD8833/47 Syntia machine produces coffee not only with
consistent flavor, but also with an excellent crema- a hallmark of good
coffee making! I have been drinking espresso for a long time and I appreciate a
well-balanced, properly extracted, silky crema and rich cup of gold.
This machine is quick and consistent with every cup.
Reviews Philips Saeco RI9737/20 Vienna Plus Automatic Espresso Machine
Compared this Philips Saeco RI9737/20 Vienna Plus with my Gaggia Classic semi-automatic and also the Espressione and was unable to tell the difference once adjusted properly. There are two controls on the Saeco that would apply to coffee strength. One is for adjusting the grind which does, of course, affect strength.
After setting the Saeco RI9737/20 grind back to #10, I went up two clicks towards positive on the strength dial, and found that setting to make the perfect espresso (for our tastes), matching the Gaggia Classic perfectly using a Rocky Rancillio grinder. Lot's of crema, but remember the type of coffee used can affect the amount of crema anyway.

Reviews Breville BES860XL Barista Express Espresso Machine with Grinder
If you get this Breville BES860XL Barista Express Espresso Machine, unpack it on a weekend morning and budget a
couple of hours to play with pulling a good shot to perfect your method
and settings for the machine. If you make this kind of time investment,
you'll have a great time making great coffee whenever you feel like it. So here's my review of the Barista Express (BES860XL) based on...
As for the quality of the coffee this Breville BES860XL Barista Express machine makes, it is fantastic. I
have worked commercial dual head machines. And frankly, after making shots for some
of these people with my new machine, they have been confounded. It is
that much better. Best milk frothing this guy has ever done. Best
complex flavor of the espresso. I have people sitting around
COMPLEMENTING the bitter part of the flavor instead of complaining about
it.
Reviews Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Espresso/Cappuccino Maker
I bought this Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Espresso/Cappuccino Maker to replace my Krups espresso machine. I drink 3-4 shots
of espresso daily, so I would say that I am a heavy "user/abuser" of
espresso machines. Not only does this make a great cup of
espresso, (with a little froth on top, even), but it has lasted through 3-4 uses per day since I bought it almost a year ago.
This is a great unit for the price and it produces great espresso! Yeah, it's a bit to go through each time you use the machine but the
coffee is great and worth it to me for what I paid. Run some Lavazza
Rossa, or any fine coffee, through it and you probably won't drink
another Starbucks, again.

Reviews Cuisinart EM-100 1000-Watt 15-Bar Espresso Maker, Stainless Steel
I love this Cuisinart EM-100 1000-Watt 15-Bar Espresso Maker! It makes delicious coffee and it works very fast. Use it at least twice daily with both ESE pods and ground espresso. It really is a nice machine. Easiest way for a first time user is to buy some coffee in ESE (easy serve espresso) pods from the internet and feel it to see how hard the coffee is tamped in the pod.
Go to the grocery store and grind a pound of your favorite roast to about the same grind. At my grocery store the second or the third finest setting works fine. You can use your own grinder but a good burr type grinder costs some money and the less expensive blade grinders are useless for espresso. I've never had an issue with Cuisinart EM-100 15-Bar Espresso Maker grounds or steam blowing out after I release the pot--even with the machine on and waiting just until the coffee stops dripping to detatch it.
Great espresso, incredible price! Reviews De'Longhi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker
This De'Longhi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso unit consistently produces a thick layer of delicious crema. Using a coffee especially made for espresso, such as Lavazza, produces a
much better espresso. Lavazza has the added benefit of allowing you to
go for hours without blinking.
I was always skeptical of expensive espresso machines and wondered why anyone would pay hundreds of dollars for an expensive machine. I started with a steam driven machine after using the stovetop model for a long time. Now don't get me wrong this is not an $8000 super automatic espresso computer/machine with all the bells and whistles, this is a great starter pump driven espresso maker.
Looking for a cheap espresso maker? The Mr. Coffee BVMC-ECMP1000 Café Barista is a great choice
Do you just want a machine that costs (way) under a thousand bucks that'll make a tasty latté or cappuccino in the morning, and in so doing save you from supporting your local coffee shop owner's boat payments? If it's the latter, then I humbly recommend this fine little Mr. Coffee BVMC-ECMP1000 Café Barista machine.
It's easy to set up, and if one uses decent ground espresso (for the record, I use Lavazza) it makes excellent coffee drinks with a minimum of fuss. Unless, of course, you're a coffee snob who wouldn't dream of using anything smacking of "automatic" that doesn't involve multiple complex steps, a $300 grinder, manual frothing, a degree in engineering and animal sacrifices.

Reviews Mr. Coffee BVMC-EL1 Cafe Latte
I bought the Mr. Coffee cafe latte maker as a "might work" on the recommendations from others on Amazon, especially the informative video from Ms. Karchner. I am extremely picky about my coffee. Overall, I like this Mr. Coffee BVMC-EL1 Cafe Latte machine because the final product is a nice, hot cup of coffee. The automated process will brew coffee or espresso while heating and frothing milk to create a delicious latte.
It can be argued whether the coffee produced is cafe latte (espresso based) or cafe au lait (strong coffee based), but if you adjust your grounds, you should be able to find the combination of milk/grounds that suit your taste. It is fun to watch the machine at work, but you can also start up the pot & do other things while your coffee brews.

Reviews De'Longhi BAR32 Retro 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker
Very nice, has been working for 2 years. I consider myself a very heavy
coffee drinker and I brew a double espresso daily in the morning. There
is nothing better, cheaper, and simpler than this DeLonghi Bar32 Retro 15-bar Pump-driven Espresso/Cappuccino Maker. I know it may be
obvious but use ONLY filtered water for the reservoir on the back.
On
the fisrt month of use I had to clean it once with white vinegar to be
able to run it again. Not a complicated fix, just fill the reservoir and
pour 1/4 cup of white vinegar and run it untill the reservoir empties,
rinse and repeat in half an hour.
